A summer of shopping always awaits in East Hampton, as luxury fashion houses open pop-ups and host exclusive events throughout the season. Many favorites found on Fifth Avenue in New York City head East during the warmer months, and the latest high-end brand to arrive right on Main Street is Louis Vuitton. The new store is a first in the Hamptons for the French maison, and the brand is going all out. In addition to the complete array of men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, shoes, leather goods, accessories and fragrance that will be available to shop, there will also be elevated items from the métiers (including leather goods and high jewelry and watches) and the LV Volt and LV Diamonds jewelry collections.

Shoppers will also spot pieces not found anywhere else, like a blue and white monogrammed Pareo stole and fan with the word “Hamptons” written across it, sold exclusively at the store. There will also be seasonal collections and bespoke offerings that cater to everything one wants and needs for summer. There’s a new, limited-edition Neverfull bag, plus the LV by the Pool collection, which splashes its blue and white color palette on ready-to-wear, handbags, accessories, hardsided pieces and décor. If you’re looking for lifestyle pieces, the new tableware collection and Objets Nomades lanterns in seaside hues are perfect beach house décor. Other Objets Nomades pieces that will look right at home in the Hamptons include a Cocoon chair by Campana and hammocks by Atelier Oi. Of course, special versions of Louis Vuitton’s classic hardside trunks can be found, including gaming trunks like the Malle Golf or the Vanity Mahjong version.

The layout of the new Main Street store evokes a walk on the beach through its sophisticated natural tones and coastal accents, natural jute rugs, banana palms and petrified wood fixtures by New York-based designer Andrianna Shamaris. Instead of a sandy boardwalk, the floor is covered in blue and white tiles with the brand’s signature monogram flower. The print can be found in other design elements, like a surfboard, beach chairs and pillows. Look up and guests will see a constellation of lanterns by Zanellato/Bortotto in a floating ceiling installation.

This may be the brand’s first store in the Hamptons, but between the coastal décor and summer-ready offerings, Louis Vuitton already feels like home sweet home. The new Louis Vuitton location will open seasonally from Memorial Day to September, with additional dates to come.
