Real talk: If Lizzo asked me to eat a poisonous spider, I would do it quickly and without question. To say I would die for her is an understatement — I have been around since Lizzobangers — so you know I have had ‘Rumors,’ her new song with Cardi B on repeat since it came out last week. And of course, I was living for the Greek mythology aesthetic — everything slathered in a decadent layer of gold, cream, and fabulousness. Lizzo’s longtime glam squad, comprised of Shelby Swain and Alex Mayo, truly understood the assignment when it came to the hair and makeup, but what stood out to me the most was how… glowy Lizzo’s skin was. This wasn’t any Fenty Beauty Trophy Wife business, no — this was serious amounts of body oil and body highlighter, because Lizzo was glowing for the Greek gods.

Of course, it was going to keep me up at night wondering what body oils they slathered all over Lizzo’s skin to make her look like she was dripping in 24k gold, and I wouldn’t be shocked if it was some proprietary blend of glycerin, broken highlighters, and Chemical X from the Powerpuff Girls, really. While we’re still waiting on proper details regarding what gave Lizzo that gleam and shimmer (even though we know most of it is just… because she’s Lizzo), we did our civic duty and gathered our favorite body highlights, body oils, and shimmers, for when you want to feel like a Greek Goddess of your own.
