Lily James
Lily James attends ‘The Guernsey Literary And Potato Peel Pie Society’ World Premiere at The Curzon Mayfair on April 9, 2018 in London, England.

When Lily James posted the first photo of herself as Pamela Anderson for Hulu’s Pam & Tommy miniseries, it was almost impossible to tell James apart from the Baywatch star she was imitating. Everything from the hair to the clothes to James’ facial expressions were on point, so much so that the image went viral and was commented on by those close to the real Pamela Anderson.

While we anxiously await the show’s release, James isn’t done sharing teasers yet. Overnight, the British actress posted a mirror selfie showing herself in full costume to her Instagram Stories.

Once again, the resemblance to Anderson is uncanny: everything from her trademark black eyeliner and bold, fluttery lashes, to her signature updo with bangs and wavy tendrils were recreated to perfection. Someone give this glam squad a raise.

Last month, James shared the first look at her role to Instagram, writing, “‘It’s great to be blonde. With low expectations it’s very easy to surprise people’ – Pamela Anderson. Pam & Tommy, coming to @Hulu. #PamAndTommy @pamandtommyonhulu.”

According to VarietyPam & Tommy will focus on the true story behind the couple’s viral sex tape. Though Anderson hasn’t publicly commented on the upcoming show, she has spoken out about the tape before, telling Watch What Happens Live in 2015, “I’ve never seen it. I made not one dollar. It was stolen property. We made a deal to stop all the shenanigans. I was seven months pregnant with Dylan and thinking it was affecting the pregnancy with the stress and said, ‘I’m not going to court anymore. I’m not being deposed anymore by these horny, weird lawyer men. I don’t want to talk about my vagina anymore or my public sex—anything.’”

Though Anderson has remained tight-lipped about the miniseries thus far, her good friend Courtney Love recently penned a Facebook post about why she thinks the whole thing is a terrible idea.

Love said the show is “f**king outrageous,” adding that her heart goes out to her friend as she is convinced the show’s existence will cause Anderson “further complex trauma.”

“When Pam / Tommy sex tape was out / myself @pattyschemel @xmadmx were making a record,” Love wrote. “And the lone women in many recording studios in LA. Where all / ALL! The staff engineers / producers / owners / were watching the sex tape with huge schadenfraude.. Guffaws, It was disgusting. I banned anyone discussing it.. It destroyed my friend Pamelas life. Utterly.”

Pam & Tommy is currently filming. While there’s no official release date yet, the eight-episode series is “coming soon,” according to Hulu.
