Iconic photoshoots with famed photographers like Mario Sorrenti and Jurgen Teller—the latter’s bed-laden portrait of a pink-haired Moss will forever be imprinted in my mind—the blueprint for the ‘rockstar girlfriend aesthetic’ and perennially enviable boho grunge ‘supermodel off-duty’ fashion that eschewed the signature aesthetic of the time.
However, it’s Moss’ contributions to the candid ‘boyfriend soft launch’ genre that may have had the biggest impact. As it turns out, it’s also a gene she’s passed on to her daughter, 20-year-old bourgeoning model Lila Moss.
It seems the littlest Moss is all grown up, with the soon-to-be supermodel taking a page out of her mother’s rulebook in a coordinated matching look with her boyfriend, Yoni Helbitz.
Helbitz and Moss were pictured taking a stroll around London, presumably as a reprieve for Moss from the chaos of London Fashion Week. In the pictures, which you can see here, Moss and Helbitz both looked to cropped, stark-white shirts and Adidas sneakers for the occasion.
Cutting a casual figure, Moss continued her low-key style streak in a pair of blue denim and a Y2K-inspired brown belt. Helbitz opted for a pair of sand-colored chinos.
Hebitz and Moss have reportedly been dating for “around a year”, with the couple keeping their relationship predominantly private. Moss and Helbitz have previously been spotted strolling through Notting Hill and infrequently dining out together at local London restaurants.
On the social media front, it seems that Moss and Helbitz recently spent the summer together, with Hebitz posting a photo of Moss sun-tanning from their languid sojourn.
Moss and Helbtiz made their official public “debut” as a couple at this year’s Wimbledon championship where they sat alongside Moss’ family friends, Sienna Miller and Alexa Chung.
However, with the pregnant actress and her boyfriend Oli Green sitting a row behind Chung, who is currently dating her ex-fiancé Tom Sturridge, it’s understood why their official outing may have been overshadowed.
According to intel obtained by the Daily Mail, Moss’ 22-year-old boyfriend is an “e-commerce coordinator/ fashion marketer” at UK-based luxury label Self-Portrait.
Helbitz was also present at Moss’ father, Dazed founder Jefferson Hack’s wedding to model Anna Cleveland earlier this year.
We wonder if Helbtiz will be cheering Moss on from the crowd when she makes her Victoria’s Secret debut later this month à la Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin.
