The luxury Swiss skincare brand, La Prairie, has been a strong champion of amplifying female artists from around the globe through its innovative events and collaborations. Earlier this year, La Prairie teamed with the media artist Carla Chan at Frieze New York for a special installation. Last week, the brand touched down in Miami for the city’s annual Art Basel festivities, and put on another fabulous display of stunning art pieces.

La Prairie partnered with Art Basel Miami Beach for the sixth year, and focused on celebrating the skincare label’s signature cobalt blue hue, which was inspired by the artist Niki De Saint Phalle, who utilized the color in paintings, sculptures and other work. 40 years ago, La Prairie and the artist shared space in the same building in 1982 and thanks to an encounter between the two, it sparked the idea for the brand to use the shade for its signature Skin Caviar collection.

To honor the history and legacy of Saint Phalle’s work and her ties with the brand, La Prairie hosted a celebration of Saint Phalle’s life at the fair’s VIP Collector’s Lounge and showcased five exclusive works which are part of the brand’s private collection.

Of course, skincare was also on display too in the La Prairie Lounge, where guests experienced personalized consultations and mini treatments of skincare collections.

Recently, La Prairie Labs unveiled its latest innovation, Skin Caviar Harmony L’Extrait, which “restores the harmony of youth” by strengthening the “vertical pillars” that attach skin to its facial foundation. It’s created to be used together with the brand’s other iconic Skin Caviar products, like the Luxe Cream and Liquid Lift, for a fully targeted lifting and firming skincare experience. (You can read more about its amazing benefits here.)

But that’s not all La Prairie was up to during Art Basel Miami Beach. They had mini Miami takeover and outfitted The Standard Miami Hotel with, you guessed it, that bright blue hue. There were mini treatments available at the pool area, where caviar-inspired bites and drinks were served. The hotel’s spa also got a La Prairie takeover and offered Skin Caviar lifting and firming treatments to guests.
