Kristen Stewart has always kept her personal and love life private, dating back all the way to when she was in a relationship with her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson. But since she started dating screenwriter Dylan Meyer in mid-2019, the actor has been loosening up about what she’ll allow the public to know about her off-screen.
This could be due to the fact that Stewart now thinks she’s met The One, candidly revealing she can’t “wait to propose” to Meyer during a radio interview with Howard Stern just a few months after the two were first romantically linked.
“The day that I met her, all bets were off,” Stewart explained. “I was like, ‘Where have I been and how have I not known you?’ She’s been, like, living in LA alongside my life somehow but not ever converging?”
Despite still not having her own public social media—something that’s not likely to change in the near future—Stewart doesn’t mind that Meyer does. Nor that she posts cute couple photos to the 50,000 people who follow her account.
Over the weekend, Meyer took to Instagram to wish Stewart a happy 31st birthday, which she celebrated on Friday. “Life sure is sweeter with this cute little family. Happy birthday, kiddo. You knock my socks off,” Meyer captioned a simple, black and white photo of Stewart and her dog sitting by the ocean.
On Meyer’s account Stewart appearances are scattered throughout, including photos of the pair playing—or attempting to play—golf and kissing in a photobooth.
This time last year, Meyer posted another gushing tribute to Stewart on her 30th, saying she hopes others wait until they find their person and hopes they too feel “the volume of beautiful feeling I feel toward her.”
“It’s a short ride on this earth, spend your time with someone that inspires you to be the best version of yourself and lights your shit on fire,” she wrote.
