When Kim Kardashian and Kanye West announced their divorce earlier this year, the pair reportedly weren’t on speaking terms. But fast-forward a few months and the former couple is not only co-parenting together, including family trips to San Francisco, but they’re matching their outfits. And when it’s concerning two of the biggest names in fashion, there’s perhaps no better way to send the world a message than with your clothing choices.

Last Thursday, Kardashian showed her support for West when she attended the listening party for his new (still unreleased) album Donda, named after his late mother, Donda West. Kardashian attended the event with her sister Khloé Kardashian, family friend Jonathan Cheban and all four of her and West’s children; North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

While on stage, West wore a bright red outfit, consisting of a red version of his Yeezy Gap Round Jacket, a tank top and trousers. He wore a ski mask, covering the entirety of his face. The look, according to Page Six, references an all-red outfit worn by the anime character Shotaro Kaneda in the Japanese movie Akira.

Clearly matching her ex-husband, Kardashian also wore top-to-toe bright red in a skintight leather jumpsuit by Rick Owens and a pair of red platform boots. Jonathan Cheban shared a photo of the group on Instagram, with the caption, “Too bright in here,” in reference to the threesome’s statement eyewear.

Kardashian filed for divorce from the rapper five months ago citing “irreconcilable differences.” Sources who spoke to E! News back in February said the pair were no longer on speaking terms, however, others have since confirmed the pair has repaired their relationship and are now friends. Something Kardashian has since confirmed through fashion herself:

During his performance, West reportedly fell to his knees and cried during one of his new songs, allegedly titled “Love Unconditionally.” Though his face was covered by a full face mask, West broke down, emotionally repeating the lyrics, “I’m losing my family, I’m losing my family”—a clear nod to his estranged wife and four children who were seated in the crowd.

Though Kardashian didn’t publicly respond to the emotional performance, fans in the crowd tweeted that all eyes were on her during it. “Everybody looking at Kim Kardashian as Kanye is on his knees saying “I’m losing all my family, darling come back to me” and “no matter what, you never abandon your family,” on person wrote on Twitter.

As for their divorce being West’s inspiration, Kardashian was reportedly told of the music ahead of time. “He was respectful and gave her the heads up, and did not want to blindside her,” a source told E! News, going on to reveal that Kardashian gave her input about the personal track.

Interestingly, the rumored name of the song was referenced in Kardashian’s most recent Instagram post about her ex-husband. On Father’s Day, she wrote, “Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads in our lives! Love you unconditionally!” alongside a gallery of images which included West and her late father, Robert Kardashian.
