Kim Kardashian West recently posted a video plugging her new travel-sized KKW Beauty body foundations and setting powders. (Yes, it is a strange time to launch 100mL-or-less considering ordinary people can’t travel but here we are.)
But it was the 39-year-old beauty mogul’s attempts to film the makeup tutorial that made me laugh. Like a lot of mothers working from home at the moment, getting anything done with an inquisitive seven-year-old is tricky. While Kardashian begins the video by politely asking her eldest daughter North to “please be quiet for two minutes,” North continued to interrupt and narrate her mother’s tutorial.

Flash back to a couple of weeks ago when Kardashian was filming another at-home beauty routine and North comes into shot. “I’m hiding in the bathroom, you guys,” Kardashian told her 185 million followers. “I’m hiding in my guest room because my kids won’t leave me alone. North, can you please just let me do my tutorial? It’s all I want to do, just one little fun thing for myself.”
With a ton of help and the owner of several palatial homes, Kardashian isn’t a regular mum, we know this. But the videos are endearing and, well, we’re thinking of every mum right now just trying to get through a hard day’s work.
