A month after its showstopping Fendace collaboration (Fendi by Versace) during Milan Fashion Week, the luxury fashion house is bringing us another collaboration that we didn’t know we needed, but now that it’s here, we’re ready to add everything to the cart. The Italian luxury fashion house is collaborating with the shapewear line SKIMS. An Unlikely pair? we think not. “Kim Jones and I have been close friends for years,” says Kim Kardashian West in a statement shared with GRAZIA, “I love his creative spirit and how he understands luxury in a way that makes total sense for how people want to dress. He works extremely hard, and as a workaholic myself, I recognize and admire the passion he puts into everything he does.”

Rumors of this exciting collaboration made their way around social media for a few weeks. Still, it wasn’t until yesterday that the news was confirmed in true Kardashian fashion — via Instagram. Kim took to her feed with a series of campaign photos (self modeled, of course), captioning the post “Introducing FENDI x SKIMS – a first of its kind collaboration that unites the luxury of @Fendi with the innovation of @SKIMS. This limited-edition collection launches on November 9 at 6 am PST at www.fendiskims.com. #FENDIxSKIMS.”

Naturally, immediately the internet went up in an uproar with fans commenting, “SKINDI is here” and “let me prepare to battle for these pieces.” The latter being oh-so relatable, seeing that any new SKIM’s products sell out almost immediately. Kim’s post was followed by supplementary posts from @SKIMS and @Fendi brand pages confirming the partnership, in case her 260 Million followers didn’t already capture the entirety of the world.

FENDI is the first luxury brand collaboration for the shapewear line on Kim’s mission to grow into a more serious and comprehensive label — and a pretty good one to snag, might we add. “Both FENDI and SKIMS have a cultural power very different from each other, but equally as strong,” Kardashian continues. “We share a desire to push boundaries, think differently, and challenge convention, which is why we found so much common ground collaborating on this collection together.”

Unlike SKIMS’ usual offerings, which are priced no higher than $100, this collaboration will feature a more high-end price tag. The Fendi x SKIMS (or as fans coin it SKINDI) will range from $100 to $4,200.
