It’s been a busy few weeks in celebrity relationship news. Lizzo stepped out with her new boyfriend, Kaley Cuoco went Instagram official with her new beau (Ozark‘s Tom Pelphrey), and now, Katie Holmes has been spotted packing on the PDA with her new man, musician Bobby Wooten III, and we’re recapping everything we know about the budding romance.

Relationship buzz first started when Holmes was spotted holding hands and kissing Wooten on April 29 in New York City’s Central Park. He even met her mom during the outing, People reported.

Two weeks later on Mother’s Day, they were spotted packing on the PDA again during a stroll in N.Y.C., in photos obtained by the Daily Mail. (There was no sign of her 16-year-old daughter Suri with ex Tom Cruise.)

Wooten has played bass in two Broadway productions, including in David Byrne’s American Utopia (where he also sang and danced) and in Moulin Rouge! The Musical (where he currently plays). The Grammy Award-nominee performed with Carly Rae Jepsen at Coachella and worked with the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Hudson.

Holmes most recently dated chef and co-owner of Emilio’s Ballato, Emilio Vitolo Jr., before splitting in 2021. She’s been busy working on her upcoming film, Alone Together, which will debut at the Tribeca Film Festival in June.

Holmes directed, wrote and starred in the film, which follows her character’s stay upstate amid the start of the pandemic, where she finds her accommodations double booked by a recently-single man.

We’ll be waiting to see what romance is in store for her Alone Together character — and her real life love with Wooten.
