Over the summer of 2020, Kaia Gerber was one of the thousands, if not millions, of people to adopt a puppy amid the coronavirus pandemic. On July 26, the supermodel posted a photo series on Instagram announcing the new addition to her family: an itty-bitty rescue pup named Milo.
Before adopting Milo, the Los Angeles native fostered several adorable puppies in need of homes during the COVID-19 pandemic. The YSL Beauty ambassador fostered and then adopted from the Labelle Foundation, a Los Angeles foster-based animal rescue that’s “devoted to saving, rehabilitating, and advocating for dogs.” Following her pup’s arrival, the pair took several selfies, including one of him kinda-sorta wearing polarized Ray-Bans. The model held them in front of his little head to give her fans an idea of how small he was.
“Thank you @thelabellefoundation for finding me the perfect forever cuddle buddy & the best friend a girl could ask for,” Gerber captioned the photo series. “Welcome to the family Milo boy 💛 mama loves you.”
On Sunday, November 29, Gerber posted a photo recreating that OG sunglasses pic, giving her six million followers a look at how much Milo has grown since the summer. Naturally, he sported a new pair of sunnies, this time, a pair of black aviators that almost fit his face. His “mom” donned a pair of orange-tinted sunglasses with a black rim.
Besides modeling sunglasses, Milo’s also no stranger to the art of posing for a bikini mirror selfie, as evidenced below.
Milo even reportedly dined with Gerber and boyfriend, Jacob Elordi, at the members-only San Vicente Bungalows in West Hollywood.
I am only a little jealous of the pup, I swear.
