Venus Williams, K-Swiss
Venus Williams poses on the tennis court wearing the second K-Swiss x EleVen by Venus Williams collection

May 21, 2021: I have a Google Calendar solely reserved for the most buzz-worthy happenings in the fashion space, so when I woke up this morning, I was alerted about the launch of the second K-Swiss x EleVen by Venus Williams collaboration, entitled “Glow Up.” Available as of this morning, the limited-edition collection comprises eight pieces of athletic wear featuring fun pops of tie-dye color and iridescent hues.

“Designing and creating are some of my biggest passions in life,” the pro athlete tells GRAZIA USA. “It’s always an incredible experience when I get to work with partners like K-Swiss who really celebrate the design process. I love the challenge of combining the ethos of two brands like K-Swiss and EleVen and using the qualities that make them so unique to create really fun, fresh looks.”

Williams’ collection favorites? “The ‘All That Shimmers Sports Tank’ and matching ‘Sparklette’ Legging‘ in Sunburst Pink is everything,” she writes us via email. “It’s such a gorgeous color for summer, and on cooler days, I pair the set with the iridescent ‘Fly Away’ jacket. It’s the perfect, easy look for anything I’m doing, whether it’s warming up for practice on the court, walking my dog Harry, or taking business calls.”

EleVen by Venus Williams and K-Swiss teamed up for its first co-branded collection in November 2020 called “Club K-Swiss.” Unlike the latest collection featuring vibrant pops of color, the former ten-piece clothing range incorporated pops of mint green and plaid. One of the standout pieces in the line was the MVP Varsity Jacket In Navy embroidered with a quote from the athlete on the sleeve, which reads, “I’m just a kid from Compton who knew how to hit a ball.”
