A recent trend of the rich and famous when it comes to weddings seems to be that of having surprise low-key nuptials in a church — preferably in Las Vegas — that make the world think, ‘Wow, they’re just like us, after all,’ before revealing that that entire event was just a preface to their actual wedding: one that spans an entire weekend, is likely in a lavish European location and features multiple designer wedding dresses.

First, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas did Vegas, then the South of France, then Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker did Vegas, then a courthouse, then Italy (lol), and now Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have, naturally, taken things up a notch. The couple has not only been engaged twice, and had two separate weddings – the second of which took place over the weekend in Georgia – but they’ve had two separate honeymoons, too.

After spending time in Paris in the days following their Vegas wedding, following tying the knot on Saturday, Bennifer flew from the US to Italy, to spend their honeymoon 2.0 in Lake Como.

The newlyweds were pictured sitting on the back of a speed boat, cruising just off the coast of Tremezzo yesterday, near where George and Amal Clooney have their home and were also reportedly seen having lunch at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo earlier that day.

Following reports that Lopez wore not one, not two, but three wedding dresses by Ralph Lauren for her and Affleck’s Georgian nuptials, the singer shared her first official photo to Instagram yesterday: a close-up of her face hidden behind a white veil, pushing fans to head to her website to see a sneak peek at more images from the celebration.

There, Lopez shared an intimate look at her gowns, which included her ceremony gown, which Ralph Lauren described as a reimagined turtleneck column dress with a ruffle hem, containing over 1,000 hand-cut handkerchiefs and 500 meters of ruffled fabric that was attached by hand.

Her second dress was covered in thousands of cascading strings of pearls, while the third was the body-hugging mermaid moment you’d expect from J.Lo. Bellissimo!
