While yes, this did technically come a few days ago when Leah Remini posted a snap of Affleck and Lopez on her Instagram, Bennifer have now taken matters into their own hands, posting a steamy picture together.
The picture is from J.Lo’s Instagram celebrating the singer’s 52nd birthday. The On The Floor singer celebrated on what looks like a small boat, wearing a vibrant red and orange bikini shrouded in a multicolored beach cover topped with a gold hat. The now 52-year-old earlier reported that she wanted her birthday to be “low key,” and while from the outside it may seem that way, there nothing low key about the PDA she posted to her 166 million Instagram followers.
Lopez captioned the post “5 2 … what it do …” with a pink heart emoji. Apparently 52 means posting steamy makeout pics with your boyfriend, and we’re not mad at it at all.
In fact, this post seems like the ultimate celebratory symbol for Lopez, after years of turbulent relationships it finally seems like J Lo has found herself in a place where the stress of the public eye doesn’t bother her much.
A post like this, which is innocently explicit in terms of its display of affection, seems like a stance of confidence for the couple. This entire time that their revamped dating has been reported on and analyzed, they haven’t felt the need to prove anything by posting constant “evidence” that they love each other. This picture exists purely just as a celebratory means of life and love, with it coming no pressure to prove anything or send a message, just that the two are undoubtedly, very happy together.
