Knitwear has undoubtedly been a big trend for 2021. From WFH cozy-chic styles to lightweight knits for summer, it seems it’s all anyone wants to be in these days. Well, Sydney-based brand Holiday The Label has decided it’s about time they get in on all the buzz.
Loved by Kourtney Kardashian, Gigi Hadid, Hailey Bieber, and more, Holiday The Label is all about “extending your summer vacation glow.” With fall right around the corner, this launch seems to be in perfect timing. Officially launching on August 10, the collection inspired by ’70s bath rugs with a retro vintage feel.
Holding to the brand’s vibrant DNA, the new knitwear styles come in Holiday The Label’s two signature souvenir-inspired patterns: a smiling hibiscus flower and a circle check print. The prints don four easy-to-wear silhouettes including a dress, shorts, pants and a sweater. Crafted in a cotton blend, each piece is designed as a perfect trans-seasonal piece to wear all year round.
Designer and founder Emma Mulholland purposely makes the pieces versatile and interchangeable with core collection pieces. In the campaign, models are styled with the sweater as a coverup over the brand’s cult-favorite one-piece bathing suit. In another image, a model is wearing a logo tee with the oh-so comfy shorts — a perfect bodega run look if I say so myself.
