Helena Christensen has developed quite an eye for interiors, if her many international abodes are any indication. The supermodel, who retains residences in Denmark, Manhattan, and upstate New York, has obtained a definitive flair to her home styling over the years, characterized by warm, lived-in furnishings and bohemian finishes.

Now the 52-year-old has offered her Instagram followers a look inside her Catskills home, where she has been spending a lot of her time recently. The relaxed aesthetic, however, is hardly accidental. As evidenced in the images Christensen posted can attest, the cozy – almost cluttered – feel to the space is deliberately cultivated to look that way.

The supermodel’s eclectic taste is sprinkled throughout her inviting dwelling, from the industrial concrete floors to the rustic leather and metal furniture, stacks of books and small interior moments, purposefully yet subtly styled to accent the relaxed vibe of the abode.

Numerous artworks are on full display, propped against the large open windows; meanwhile there’s plenty of plant life and greenery, and it appears Christensen isn’t afraid to incorporate color either – with a Missoni zig-zag throw adorning her couch, feature walls painted in muted tones and a striking cobalt bookshelf injecting a bit of fun to the space.

In the photos, Christensen’s cute four-legged friend Kuma is also featured prominently. She recently posted a dedication to her dog, thanking her for bringing “love and joy” to her life. She also admitted that the “loyal, protective” pup helped to get her through some difficult moments.

“She makes us laugh all day long. I was going through a rough time when we got her and it’s fair to say she pretty much saved my spirit,” the supermodel wrote alongside some sweet snaps with her pooch.

It seems the model has made a lovely quiet life for herself in her upstate abode, and we’re certainly open to an invitation to Casa Christensen post-pandemic.
