If you’ve followed Haim for much of their music career you would know the sisters aren’t one for glitzy ball gowns and extravagant silhouettes. Take for example their 2021 Grammys look. The trio appeared on the red carpet in custom lavender Prada complete with logo-clad kitten heels. It was pared-down but fashion-fueled – these girls know their labels. For the 2021 BRIT Awards, Haim followed much the same formula, this time in The Row.

Led by another set of famous sisters – Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen – The Row is best known for its luxury basics, tailoring, and trendsetting accessories. So for the brand to be spotted on the red carpet is somewhat unusual, but welcomed. The result as styled by Rebecca Grice for the Haim sisters was an androgynous, business casual vibe.

The eldest sister Este appeared in a sleek black pantsuit cinched in at the waist with a leather belt. Danielle wore a slouchy blazer, high-neck shirt and pleated pants. The youngest, Alana, took a leaf from Harry Styles’ style book and opted for a white button-down shirt and knitted vest. Each look was finished off with undone hair and bronze makeup by celebrity makeup artist Jaimee Rose.

Haim won the BRIT Award for Best International Group.

The Row has had plenty of A-list airtime in the past several weeks. Kendall Jenner is a huge fan of the label and appeared in head-to-toe The Row last month on Instagram. She wore the same pleated khaki pants and oversized white shirt (albeit unbuttoned) and thong heels. Jonah Hill posted an image of himself and Zoë Kravitz in the brand too. The Olsen twins quit acting to establish the brand in 2006.

The celebrity affinity with the brand is no surprise and following Haim’s appearance in the threads, we can expect many more pared back red carpet looks in the future.
