It’s mid-April, and that means we are in the height of that weird in-between weather stretch right before full-blown spring hits. It’s the kind of weather where it’s a bit too cold in the morning and a bit too warm in the afternoon. So, the question is — how does one properly dress for this wishy washy weather? Thankfully, Gigi Hadid just stepped out in the perfect transitional weather outfit to give us all the weekend inspiration we need.
The main takeaway from this springtime look is the importance of layers. Hadid’s base is a tank that she wore under a light cotton blouse and wrapped a cozy cashmere sweater around her shoulders for good measure. This is a great outfit formula because it’s not quite warm enough for a bare-shoulder moment and the cotton button-down is nice and lightweight. Having that backup layer around her shoulders is a smart move because if it gets too breezy, it’s easy to throw on top or underneath the button-down. Hadid of course rocked her own label Guest in Residence, added relaxed-fit distressed jeans and reached for her favorite pair of DMY By DMY Valentina sunnies. She finished off her look with some cool kicks courtesy of the Converse x Golf Wang collab.
