The 2021 Grammy Awards are a thing of the past, but I’ve been thinking about Harry Styles’ feather boa on repeat ever since. His iconic so-90s fashion moment also made me hyper-aware of the fact that I don’t own any feathery ensembles, which feels severely out of touch with today’s trends. This particular worry of mine was further justified when I scrolled past a photo of supermodel Gizele Oliveira wearing a strapless black bodysuit with faux feather trim. Now, I can’t stop scouring the web for the perfect piece to add to my wardrobe—but I think we all can benefit.

It’s important to note that celebrities aren’t the only ones who are loving feathers as of recent (even if they’re the ones who end up influencing us on social media). Feathers also reigned supreme on the Fall-Winter 2021 runways during Fashion Month, as seen at shows for luxury labels like 16Arlington, Lanvin, and Emilio Pucci. Fear not if you want to adopt the trend sooner rather than later, though. Saint Laurent, Fendi, and No.21 also showed feathers on the Spring-Summer 2021 catwalk, proving the time is now to add your favorite look to your virtual shopping cart.
