There’s no home organization project that Lisa Jacobs, founder and CEO of Imagine It Done, can’t handle. Since creating the business in 2004, Jacobs has helped countless clients in New York and the tristate area get their homes in order. “Whether you’re moving, decluttering the home you’ve lived in for a lifetime, or preparing for a major life event, Imagine It Done will help you create systems and methods that fit your lifestyle and budget,” Jacobs tells Grazia Gazette. “The goal is always to create spaces that aren’t only to live in, but rather a home you’ll love.”

Jacobs worked in the world of advertising and the model agency industry before creating her business in 2004 after realizing she had a passion and a knack for finding the perfect place to store things. Married with three children, Jacobs had moved a staggering 7 times when she realized that home organization was more than just a hobby — and started using her innate skills to help others get their life organized. Now, Imagine It Done and Jacobs’s team work with clients in the New York/TriState area as well as providing tips on social media and videos to a worldwide audience.

See below for three tips from Jacobs to help you organize for the fall!

1. Prioritize yourself. The transitional seasonal switch is a time for self-discovery. Consider who you are now, not who you were or want to be.

2. Clean as you go. This is the perfect time to remove the balls of dust on the floor and all surfaces filled with clothing and accessories.

3. The number one game changer is the hanger. Streamline hangers by using the same style, preferably acrylic. Your clothing will have the importance, not the hanger.
