When you’re in Venice, it’s hard not to fall into the romance of it all. That seems to be what’s happened for Emma Watson, who was spotted holding hands with rumored boyfriend Brandon Green.

E News broke the story with a paparazzi photo of Watson and Green walking through the Italian city hand-in-hand, laughing and seeming totally in love, to be honest. The outlet also says they were spotted getting into a water taxi.

While hard-launching a relationship usually involves posting about your significant other on social media, Emma Watson doesn’t really use her socials in that way — plus, since celebs are often very aware of paparazzi, the fact she was snapped with Green holding hands might suggest she’s happy to go public.

It’s not the first time Watson and Green, the son of British fashion billionaire Sir Philip Green, have been snapped together. In fact, it seems the pair may have been dating for over a year, with their first sighting being way back in September 2021. Back then, however, they were simply both exiting a helicopter (as you do), not engaging in PDA. We’ll likely never know the absolute facts — Watson is notoriously private about her personal life, and neither she nor Green have commented on the nature of their relationship.

Still, things look very much romantic judging from the latest pictures. It also looks like Watson has grown out the pixie crop from her recent Prada campaign which is a shame because, while we love Watson with any hairstyle, we really thought this was going to be her second pixie cut era (she also lopped off her locks in 2010 after wrapping the lengthy Harry Potter film series).

Emma Watson was last linked to businessman Leo Robinton, and gave a rare statement regarding the relationship after rumors swirled that she was engaged. “If I have news — I promise I’ll share it with you,” she said on Twitter in May last year, adding, “In the mean time please assume no news from me just means I’m quietly spending the pandemic the way most people are — failing to make sourdough bread (!), caring for my loved ones and doing my best not to spread a virus that is still affecting so many people.”
