Just when we thought Emily in Paris couldn’t get more fantastical and fabulous series creator Darren Starr adds a new neon zebra print and a steamy love triangle to keep it all interesting. On Tuesday, Netflix released the official trailer to season 3 with Lily Collins reprising her role as the chirpy fashion-fueled American marketing executive.
Many questions were left at the end of season 2. Does Emily leave Paris and accept a new job offer? Who will she stay with — the Parisian chef Gabriel or her British love interest Alfie? Across two minutes we are treated to a little insight into her decisions which she perfect surmises as a “existential angst.” Same girl, same.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight in October, Collins teased what we can expect. “More love triangles, more drama, more laughs, more fashion, more locations, more France!” she said, adding that we should prepare “a lot of cliffhangers.” Earlier this year Netflix announced that Emily in Paris was also renewed for a fourth season.
Ashley Park will reprise her role as Mindy, Camille Razat as Camille, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie and Lucas Bravo as Gabriel. Speaking to GRAZIA last month, Bravo reflected on filming in his home city of Paris.
“You know when you live in a city for that long, you don’t really see the little things,” he said. “You just walk down the street with a mission and you go from point A to point B. Filming in Paris brings light on things I don’t see anymore. It revives that idea of what a beautiful city I live in. The feeling stays with me for a few months after.”
Emily in Paris will return to Netflix on Dec. 21. Watch the trailer below!
