Dua Lipa has taken to Instagram to tease a collaboration with Italian fashion house Versace for its Fall/ Winter 2021 campaign. As New York Fashion Week creeps upon us, Lipa posted two snapshots of what looks like her on-set of an editorial shoot for the high fashion brand. The singer is the face of Versace’s new “La Greca” pattern and the campaign will be accompanied by a feature film.

Shot by photography duo Mert and Marcus, Lipa stars in a series of photos displaying teasers of the Versace FW21 campaign. The new “La Greca” pattern follows the same geometric motif we’re used to with Versace’s styling, but it provides a more contemporary take on the classic Greek key pattern. The line work follows a pattern of repetition, but are offset to create a cyclical and dynamic feel, and through the use of color, providing a three-dimensional quality.

Lipa can be seen in multiple outfits all accompanied by coordinating handbags. One photo has Lipa in a fur (hope that is faux!) coat and black hat, matched with an olive, light green and black bag with a monogram “V” on top of the new “La Greca” pattern. Others show Lipa in a short, red dress, displaying the same La Greca motif, finished off with a thick black belt to cinch her waist.

The BTS shots that Lipa teased on her Instagram show different outfits than the ones displayed on the Versace website, but the full campaign has yet to be released. The campaign is modern and new, yet still holds on to the Versace sense of style. Lipa wrote underneath the Instagram post “VERSACE VERSACE VERSACE – FULL FW21 campaign launching tomorrow!!! @donatella_versace i love you.”
