Despite once shying away from her girl band roots, in recent years, Victoria Beckham has realized that embracing her past as a member of one of the most iconic pop bands of all time won’t lose her any clout in the fashion industry or beyond. In fact, it’ll add to it.

Case in point: after one of her London Fashion Week shows, VB headed to an after-party where she sang and danced Spice Girls lyrics on top of a table, sending the internet wild. She then posted videos of herself and her daughter Harper dancing to one of the group’s most famous songs, before later releasing Spice Girls-themed t-shirts for charity, enlisting her former bandmates for campaign imagery.

Now, for Christmas, her husband David has joined in on the action, opting for his festive jumper to be none other than a piece of iconic Spiceworld merch—the name of the group’s second album and  feature-length film.

In the image, David points towards his jumper while Victoria poses as Posh Spice by pulling the peace sign. Though her top is partially blocked from view, it’s definitely festive too, with snowflakes fluttering down the front.

The Beckhams always love a festive photoshoot, usually including all of their children in front of the Christmas tree at their London home. Last year, the designer even shared bloopers from their 2020 Christmas card photo, showing her children and animals not playing along for the shoot.

At the beginning of the clip, Beckham asks her eldest son Brooklyn, “Are you sure you don’t want to put trousers on?” before noticing her 15-year-old son, Cruz, is wearing a Borat sweater. “Excellent, that sums up your personality,” she says. Then, when she can’t get the dogs to sit, Beckham says, “It’s a Christmas card, guys, it’s meant to be a good thing to do!”

Though we haven’t yet had the kids’ edition of the Beckhams’ 2021 Christmas, this first Spiceworld-themed couple photo is giving major throwback energy, prompting former Baby Spice Emma Bunton, to comment “Best Christmas jumper ever!!!!” and for Sporty Spice Mel C to comment a laughing emoji.

Derek Blasberg added, “HOW DO I NOT HAVE THIS JUMPER!?” which I’ve also been questioning on a personal level. Seriously, where can we buy this?
