Wine spritzers are all the rage this summer—so it was inevitable that the bubbly cocktail would coincide with Pride Month. Enter: Cool Cat’s vibrant PRIDE Celebration.

Known for its’ natural wine spritzers, the beverage brand celebrated the LGBTQIA+ community with an intimate cocktail hour at the Surf Lodge last week—notably the venue’s first-ever Pride party. The evening included music by DJ Dawson, with a special performance from Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears.

Cool Cat hosted the Montauk soirée to showcase its’ goals of inclusivity and unity, particularly as it’s a gay-owned business. The brand has grown rapidly since its’ launch last spring, earning Liquor.com’s “Best Spritzer” title and a Gold Medal by The Fifty Best. Guests included Cool Cat’s CEO Rocco Venneri, as well as trainer-turned-influencer Isaac Calpito and Surf Lodge owner Jayma Cardoso.

In case you’re craving more of the Pinot Grigio-based canned cocktails, Cool Cat will launch new Berry and Grapefruit flavors later this season—ensuring the drinks keep flowing all summer long. The brand is also staying busy on the events circuit as well, set to co-host Queer Art Summerfest next week at Brooklyn hotspot 3 Dollar Bill.
