Actors Chris Evans and Lily James were spotted hanging out in London on Saturday night – and the rumor mill is churning.
The Mamma Mia and Yesterday star, 31, spent the majority of the evening with the Captain America actor at swanky nightspot Mark’s Club in Mayfair. According to The Daily Mail, the duo then got a black cab headed for Evan’s hotel, The Corinthia.
The UK publication has published pictures to prove the hang-out definitely happened. But perhaps more telling – to the sartorial eye, anyway – that this was definitely a date, was James’ outfit; A crimson lip and slinky red slip on a cool London night. Take a look here:

People reports that James lives in London, where Evans, 39, headed recently to resume production on a number of projects.
It had been rumored that James was indeed working on her long-term romance with The Crown actor Matt Smith, 37. The couple have been reportedly dating for five years but allegedly rekindled their relationship after splitting in December over his “friendship with female stars.”
A source told The Sun: “Matt and Lily’s break-up was mostly because their hectic schedules meant they could barely see each other. They kept the house together when they split because they were both barely around. But when lockdown began, they ended up isolating together.”
Evans who has been a part of nearly a decade’s worth of Marvel films as Captain America was one half of pop culture’s favorite couple a couple of years ago. He and actress Jenny Slate had all but lovely things to say about one another when they did finally split in March 2018.
“She’s my favorite human,” the Captain America star told People at the time. “She’s the best. I’ve never, ever met someone in my life who has a mastery of the English language the way she does. She’ll give you one sentence and there’s no fat to it.
“You’re like, ‘You just chose such an unbelievable collection of words that beautifully articulate what you say,’” he continued.
