As previously reported by GRAZIA, Britney Spears’ now fiancé, Sam Asghari, was seen browsing rings at Cartier in Beverly Hills a few weeks ago. Now, we have confirmation that the two are officially engaged via Spears’ Instagram with a post that reads “I can’t f****ng believe it 💍💍💍💍💍💍❣️!!!!!!” underneath a video of her and Asghari flashing the diamond. While the news in itself is exciting and a much needed breath of fresh air in her life, let’s give some attention to the actual ring and all of its sparkly details.
The four carat ring is from retailer Forever Diamonds NY, set in a platinum cathedral setting and has a four-prong solitaire design. The word “lioness,” a testament to Spears’ ferocity and strength, is engraved on the inside band of the ring. Designed by Forever Diamonds’ president Roman Malayev, the ring has an estimated value of $70,000.
‘Every designer I spoke with about the ring was amazing with great ideas, but I just clicked with [designer] Roman,” Asghari said. “We really connected on the design and he was as excited as I was to make it special – that’s why I chose him.”
In response to the engagement, Forever Diamonds NY congratulated the couple.
