If you heard rumors running around online that Kim Kardashian and Beyoncé were feuding due to some bad blood between Jay Z and Ye, well you can finally put that thought to rest. Beyoncé followed a tradition she has by posting a Happy Birthday message for Kim Kardashian’s 41st on her website alongside an adorable baby picture. The picture of Kim showed her in a bright pink baby dress and the tiniest white bow in her hair.
Beyoncé also payed tribute to Doja Cat and Snoop Dogg, who happen to share a birthday with Kardashian.
The tension between the two couples, or rather the tension started by Ye, came about when Jay Z and Beyoncé didn’t attend Kim and Ye’s wedding in 2014. Ye can be quoted saying that he was “hurt” by their absence.
“I was hurt about them not coming to the wedding,” Kanye said in an interview with The Breakfast Club . “I understand they were going through some things, but if it’s family, you’re not going to miss a wedding.”
This seemingly one-sided beef was escalated when Ye started making inflammatory comments about Jay Z and Beyoncé at one of his concerts during his Saint Pablo tour in 2016.
He can be heard saying on stage “Don’t call me, after the robbery, and say ‘How you feelin’?'” Ye said. “You wanna know how I’m feeling? Come by the house. Bring the kids by the house, like we’re brothers.”
But with this birthday message from Beyoncé, and due to the fact that Jay Z seemingly collaborated with Ye on an early track from his newest album DONDA, it’s safe to say that any tension that once existed is now dissolved, and the two couples, well couple and ex-couple, at this point seem like they’re standing on pretty solid ground. This could be in part due to the fact that Kim and Ye are no longer a couple, so their actions are now based individually as opposed to in a pair like before.
