For supermodels, summer in the city means one thing: ab season. And what better way to show off your toned washboard stomach than to ditch the crop top completely and instead, just wear a bra out in public?

Last week, Emily Ratajkowski did just that when she wore a denim Prada bra as a top, matching it to her high-waisted jeans, while out in New York City. Now Bella Hadid has taken it one step further, showing off both her bra and underwear while walking the streets in a ‘90s era red tracksuit by none other than Juicy Couture-esque brand, Stüssy.

Leaving the baggy tracksuit top unzipped, the 24-year-old showed off her white sports bra and pulled her matching briefs up so they peeked through her pant’s waistband. She accessorized with clear sunglasses, rings on nearly every finger, and white sneakers.

For years now, Hadid has been channelling the ‘90s with her outfits, often opting for baggy pants, sneakers and oversized jackets when she’s off-duty. Recently, she’s even been taking the trend to her hair styles, such as when she wore a zig-zag part for her older sister Gigi’s birthday, alongside an outfit by up-and-coming British designer, Charlotte Knowles:

As much as we’d like to ignore the other trend Hadid has been championing of late, there’s no denying the one item most of us would like to stay buried far back in the ‘90s is making its way back: that of low-rise jeans.

Hadid and her model friends Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin have all been spotted sporting the style for the past six months, again, due, in part, to the easy, no fuss way to show off their abs. This, alongside Tik Tok Gen Z users jumping on the trend, has prompted searches for low-rise jeans to increase by 73% in the past 12 months.

Bras, briefs and low-rise jeans? Take me back to lockdown.
