Beanie Feldstein has officially tied the knot! The Booksmart actress and her longtime partner, producer Bonnie Chance Roberts said “I do” on May 19, 2023, at Cedar Lakes Estate in the Hudson Valley with a whimsical camp-themed ceremony.
Surrounded by wilderness, Feldstein walked down the aisle in a custom Gucci gown, styled by Erin Walsh. At the time of her engagement, Feldstein was working with the Italian fashion house on the Gucci Love Parade campaign, but never dreamed she’d wear a Gucci gown on her wedding day.
“Never in our wildest dreams could we have imagined that we would wear Gucci to our wedding,” Beanie told Vogue. The American Crime Story: Impeachment actress explained that she looked through previous collections to create a mood board, but her main source of inspiration was her mother’s wedding gown from 1975. “Her dress featured a fabulous lace sleeve I knew I wanted to pay homage to.”
Feldstein adorned an ivory lace long-sleeve with gown with a bedazzled bow tied around her neck and a matching beaded thin belt, embellished with white floral appliqué.
She wore her brunette tresses in blown out curls and a middle part with long chandelier earrings while Roberts adorned a rose-colored silk tuxedo with a white waistcoat and a white bowtie.
The night before, the couple celebrated during their rehearsal dinner in style. Roberts sported a starry night embellished suit by Bode while Feldstein adorned a dreamy white floral embellished Rodarte dress with a sweetheart neckline and puff sleeves. Using the extra fabric from her dress, she covered her white Jennifer Behr headband and teamed it with Christian Louboutin pumps.
Last June, Feldstein shared the news that she and Roberts were engaged. Feldstein posted photos on social media of the moment when Roberts went down on one knee, as well as a carousel of photos showing an intimate gathering of close friends and family celebrating afterward.
Feldstein’s brother Jonah Hill was in attendance, along with her Broadway costar and high school friend Ben Platt and her Booksmart co-stars Kaitlyn Dever and Molly Gordon. Roberts reposted the images with The Beatles tune “She Loves You” to her Instagram Stories.
In her caption, the Funny Girl star wrote “i do, bon,” while expressing in her Stories, “you make me happier than I knew was possible. I love you.”
The two have been together for the last five years, and even worked with one another on a few occasions. They met while filming the movie How to Build a Girl in 2018, Feldstein played the titular role while Roberts was one of the producers.
The couple worked together again with Ryan Murphy’s limited series American Crime Story: Impeachment. Both women are credited as producers and Feldstein portrayed Monica Lewinsky amid the Bill Clinton impeachment scandal in the 1990s.
