Achieving success at a young age might have that “born under a lucky star” ring to it, but that’s not always true. Some people realize their dreams early on by working hard from a very young age to become role models to others, some even older than them. The story of young serial entrepreneur Aslan Rahman is a perfect example. From humble beginnings with nothing to support his business and no one to guide him, Aslan has managed to own not only one but three successful ventures by the time he was 20. Having recently turned 21, he is now a sought-after business coach helping other entrepreneurs with brilliant client acquisition strategies. His story is an inspiration to many aspiring entrepreneurs who want to grow but are hesitant to venture into this space.
Aslan was born and raised in the UK by a single father who emigrated from Afghanistan to escape the wars in the 1980s. Aslan had a standard upbringing that fueled his desire to live a comfortable life and pursue a career that offered decent earning opportunities. At 16, Aslan discovered his entrepreneurial skills while selling sandwiches and baguettes illegally at school. At the time, he was too young to realize his passion for entrepreneurship and instead wanted to pursue a degree in medicine and become a doctor. Aslan thought being a doctor would provide him with a secure career so he could afford a comfortable life.
In 2019, Aslan started attending business conferences across the country, and that’s when his perspective changed. He met hundreds of self-made young entrepreneurs and learned about endless business opportunities. It was like discovering a whole new world of business ventures he had no idea existed. Aslan decided to give entrepreneurship a try, so he took a gap year to start his real estate business. With no capital to support his idea, Aslan had to raise funds from investors. He also invested in himself by hiring experienced mentors to guide him in navigating the space because real estate is all about making the right decisions at the right time.
Aslan’s first business was a lease and rent venture where he leased large houses from landlords and then rented them out as co-living dwellings. The landlords generated a passive source of income, and the difference in amount became Aslan’s profit. He reinvested his profits to start a property deal selling company. Within a few months, Aslan was making an impressive five figures each month from the business, more than what he estimated any doctor in the UK was making. So he decided to quit med school and focus on starting another venture to be a guide and mentor to other aspiring entrepreneurs.
Aslan used his knowledge in securing brilliant property deals to start an online coaching business that he scaled in no time. He initially mentored property entrepreneurs on how to scale up their businesses and eventually widened his area of expertise by including other industries as he continued learning several proven client acquisition strategies online. Now Aslan wants to utilize this knowledge to start general online business coaching. His goal is to help consultants, coaches, and course creators in a variety of industries land more high-ticket clients.
Aslan believes that he has the required skill set to add incredible value to the coaching industry. Besides helping online coaches secure more high-ticket clients, Aslan wants to scale his real estate portfolio with a focus on generating seven figures in revenue annually by next year, across his businesses.
