Ashley Park

Whatever your feelings are about Emily in Paris, can we all just agree that Mindy (played by Ashley Park) is the best character on the show? A sassy, fiercely loyal feminist who can somehow make latex look good, she’s a far better friend than Emily, and someone we’d all personally like in our corner.

Although her sartorial choices can swing between bold and outright kooky on the show, we appreciate her no-holds-barred fashion risk-taking, from her Versace jungle-print suit to the Balmain contrast cutout mini and that iconic red dress in the last episode, the Donna by Cult Gaia.

Off set, Park’s style may not be as flamboyant as Mindy’s but there’s no denying she’s loves fashion as much as her alter ego. In fact, just last November she debuted her first fashion collection (of party style looks) in collaboration with Rent the Runway. Of her personal style, Park says it’s changed post-pandemic and she would now describe it as comfy and chic. In this interview with Fashionista the 31-year-old actress talks about her love of oversized blazers, mixing masculine and feminine styles, and halters with wide leg pants.

As someone who truly appreciates quality craftsmanship and design, Park turns to some of our favorite designers when it comes to collecting pieces for her own wardrobe. Her latest handbag obsession? The iconic Bulgari Serpenti collection. Already a big fan of the brand, Park is often adorned in Bulgari jewels for events, and now that love extends to her arm candy as well.

At a recent Emily In Paris event at SiriusXM’s studio in New York, Park wore the Bulgari Serpenti Crossbody Bag in mint green, which she paired with croc-printed pants and a matching cropped jacket. In late December she was spotted at an Emily in Paris activation event in New York toting another icon, the Bulgari Serpenti Ellipse Crossbody Bag in light gray, which she paired with an oversized blazer, jump suit and glittery boots.
