Releasing their first single together in the name of isolation, Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber’s new track “Stuck With U” is…cute. It’s not a number one worldwide banger like “Sorry” or “God Is A Woman,” but it’s a little bit of something nice for these strange, endless days.
The track – which celebrates the people you are quarantining with – gives you a little peek into Bieber and Grande’s homes. The former is seen dancing around his kitchen (white marble countertops) and later boxing and kissing his wife Hailey. Grande is seen snuggling up to her little dog in a lacy white cami – and then dancing about with a hooded man (and did anybody else imagine the star to have a bedspread that wasn’t grey?). Interspersed is famous friends (Hello, Gwyneth, Kendall, Kylie) and not-so-famous fans who are also showing off who they are quarantining with.
“Got all this time on our hands, may as well cancel our plans/ Could stay here forever,” the lyrics ring out. “Stuck With U” is the first single in a series of charity songs from Bieber and Grande’s manager Scooter Braun’s company SB Projects. Proceeds from the single go toward the First Responders Children’s Foundation – some welcomed good press for Braun who has spent a lot of this isolation period in a very public row with Taylor Swift.
