Anna Delvey could be released from ICE detention soon, but only if she can find a place to stay. According to a report from Page Six, U.S. Immigration Judge Charles Conroy granted her a $10,000 bond, which she is believed to be able to pay, but is struggling to find a residential address. There she will be under “24-hour confinement” for “the duration of her immigration proceedings.”

Delvey, whose real name is Anna Sorokin, will also not be allowed to post to her 1 million social media followers “either directly or by a third party” during this period.

Her attorney Duncan Levin, said in a statement: “We are extremely gratified by the court’s decision today to release Anna Sorokin. The judge rightfully recognized that Anna is not a danger to the community. While there are still a few hurdles to jump through on her release conditions, Anna is thrilled to be getting out so she can focus on appealing her wrongful conviction.”

Detailed in the explosive drama Netflix series Inventing AnnaDelvey was convicted of theft and grand larceny and sentenced to 12 years in prison. She served just two years before she was released in February 2021. After just six weeks of freedom she was rearrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement for overstaying her visa. She has been in custody ever since.

It comes after Delvey posed as a fake German heiress and conned hotels and investors out of hundreds of thousands of dollars between 2013 and 2017.

Something tells us her unexpected pal Julia Fox might be her best bet at freedom. It’s all worthy of a Netflix sequel!
