In June it was discovered that Ana de Armas had moved on from Ben Affleck with Tinder VP Paul Boukadakis. We naturally asked: is this a rebound or something more? Well, fast forward three months and it appears the couple are still going strong. In images obtained by Page Six, the couple have made their public debut at JFK airport.
In a bid to keep a low profile, the pair weaved in and out of foot traffic in the busy airport, heads down, face masks on. The Knives Out star wore her signature bangs with an oversized pinstripe blazer, slacks and chunky Celine loafers. Her beau wore a blue jacket and black jeans.
It is unclear where they are travelling but we can only hope it’s a last minute summer vacation to Europe.
When news broke of the new relationship on June 15, a source for Page Six said, “Paul and Ana were introduced through friends. He is based in Austin, but splits his time between Texas and Santa Monica. He has been spending a lot of time with Ana before she left the US to film her new movie.”
The insider added that the businessman had already introduced de Armas to his immediate family.
Affleck and de Armas broke things off in January after less than a year together. According to a source for People, the actress called it quits as she didn’t want to be based in Los Angeles.
“Their relationship was complicated,” the insider said at the time. “Ana doesn’t want to be Los Angeles based, and Ben obviously has to since his kids live in Los Angeles.”
And their situations apparently worked out for the better. This week Affleck was caught gushing about Jennifer Lopez in a rare interview.
