For COS‘ first NYFW show, the London-based brand made a very memorable debut. The Fall/Winter 2022 collection was staged against the New York City skyline with the Empire State Building in clear view. Just like its Fall/Winter 2022 campaign (which launched in conjuction with the show) they tapped some superstar names to hit the runway, including Shalom Harlow, Quannah Chasinghorse and one of their Fall/Winter 2022 campaign stars, Alton Mason.

The 24-year-old in-demand model just made the jump to the big screen in Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis Presley biopic, ELIVS, where he played Little Richard. He joined more stars in the brand’s campaign, which was shot by famed photographed Mario Sorrenti and celebrated dynamic cities around the world. Its lineup of famous faces embodied “cross-generational diversity, timelessness, and individuality” and included New Yorkers actor Harvey Keitel, actresses Natasha Lyonne and Greta Lee, models José Miguel Lapaz-Rodriguez, Grace Elizabeth and Dede Mansro, plus stars Paloma Elsesser and Mason, who posed together for some takes.

GRAZIA USA recently caught up with Mason, where he shared that being a part of the campaign was “an honor” to work with “such amazing, talented, people.” He noted that his favorite moment on-set was shooting alongside “the beautiful Paloma.” He actually closed out COS show, walking right before his partner-in-crime in the campaign shoot, Elsesser, who did the final spin down the catwalk.

Throughout the week he walked in other shows such as Tommy Hilfiger, and told GRAZIA USA that to get into the zone, he counts meditation and music as the best preparation.

Whether hitting the catwalks in designer pieces or turning heads on the party scene (where he was dressed in a full-on Spider-Man suit to the Harper’s Bazaar ICONS party) he brings show-stopping looks wherever he goes. “My personal style is just me being me,” Mason shared. “Doing what I want to do and being who I want to be.”

It sounds like there’s plenty in store for the in-demand model-turned-actor. When asked if he wants to continue both professions he replied with a resounding, “absolutely,” Adding, “I love what I do.”

But he still has his sights set on more. “Music is next,” he says with a smile. “I truly admire the career of Naomi Campbell and Grace Jones.”

We’ll be eagerly waiting to see what’s next!
