Not many people get the chance to follow their dreams. Regardless of talent and passion, those with duties and obligations rarely get to take their shot. The entertainment industry is full of artists with inspiring stories, but those who break through major barriers tend to stand out the most.

Bryan Arion is an actor who had to go through a significant amount of struggle to get to where he is today. He has been passionate about acting from a young age but didn’t know what it would take to accomplish his dreams.

Today, Bryan has appeared in numerous TV shows such as NBC’s Day of Our Lives, Micheal Bay’s The Last Ship, and Selena: The Series on Netflix, to name a few and is currently working on several other promising projects that will further establish his acting career.

Being able to make it this far hasn’t been easy because of where he was born: Chilpancingo, Guerrero, the second poorest and most violent state in Mexico and one of the most dangerous places in the world. Because of how rife with crime and violence Guerrero was, Bryan and his family’s lives were very difficult. His mother’s side of the family was heavily involved in the cartels, which resulted in the narcos eventually threatening to execute Bryan’s family. Luckily Bryan and his mother managed to escape from Mexico when he was only 5. It was a traumatizing experience, but they got through it with strength and hope for a brighter future.

He then grew up in North Carolina and continued to dream about pursuing acting. As a teenager, Bryan acted in different theater plays, and immersed himself in learning the guitar and piano. His mother greatly supported his creative side and ensured that he lived a better life. Building these skills at a young age helped him hone them and gear up for the world of entertainment.

Bryan is also passionate about MMA and trained hard in jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai. However, He considers MMA his second love as his acting career has always been a bigger priority. His journey to success and ability to remain persistent is very inspiring. He has truly rewritten his destiny and made it from “rags to riches.”

He advises others to learn from their struggles and remain grateful for the blessings they have in life. Those going through major setbacks can take inspiration from how Bryan carved a path for himself. He kept moving despite the racism, colorism, and discrimination he had to go through after leaving Mexico.

Most of us go through challenges, but growing through them is not easy. It requires accountability and willpower to push through the doubt and fight. People like Bryan are an inspiration for anyone with a little bit of passion and big dreams.

Bryan has set various objectives for his foreseeable future and would love to one day produce his own movie. He wants to shine a spotlight on his grandmother’s story and showcase the inspiring life she lived. Being able to show appreciation to his mother and grandmother is one of his biggest purposes in life. They’ve inspired him each day, supported him through thick and thin and are the reason he is where he is today.
