2023 has truly been a year full of surprises for the world of manicure (and – spoiler alert! – 2024 will be no less exciting). We asked Massimo Albini, Training Manager at OPI, to tell us what to expect for winter 2024 nails.

Nail Trends 2024: Apricot Crush
Remember this color: it will be the most loved. “Apricot Crush – Albini explains – is an apricot shade that exudes a feeling of warmth and joy; it’s a soft orange matured by the sun that stimulates creativity, positivity, and optimism, radiating a dose of vitality and hope.” This orange conveys energy and at the same time stands out as a versatile, inclusive, and trans-seasonal shade.
“Apricot Crush is associated with well-being, as an alternative to pastel colors; it marks the return to holistic color to the fingertips, after the dramatic technology-inspired trends that dominated the past seasons,” Albini continues.
Cyber Lime
Another trendy color for 2024 is Cyber Lime, a sparkling and neon shade, dopamine-stimulating.
Nail Trends 2024: Chocolate
2024 also celebrates the return of some classic colors like Nut Shell, namely walnut shell. We’re talking about spicy brown tones that evoke feelings of warmth and reassurance. This color reflects a nostalgic mood and marks the return to retro styles and influences that have captivated consumers, emphasizing the importance of sustainability over novelty.
Pastel Tones
And finally, the most loved shades by Gen Z, which will express itself with a manicure in eccentric and playful tones. We’re talking about candy-like colors, sugary and fruity shades, proposed in delicate creamy finishes that coordinate for multicolored nails or standalone designs.
And speaking of pastel shades: from deep pink to icy blue, from fig green to fresh mint to a soft peach color, these shades will be layered to create customized colors with fresh finishes.
