Princess of Wales’ cancer diagnosis in March 2024 came as a

“It is a relief to now be in remission, and I remain focused on
recovery,” the Princess shared in a heartfelt statement. She also
emphasized

In addition to announcing her remission, Princess Catherine has
accepted a new role as Joint Patron of The Royal Marsden
NHS Foundation Trust alongside her husband, Prince William, who
has served as President since 2007. This partnership reflects the
couple’s commitment to advancing medical research and enhancing
patient experiences.
“My hope is that by supporting groundbreaking research and
clinical excellence, as well as promoting patient and family
well-being, we might save many more lives, and transform the
experience of all those impacted by cancer,” she said during her
