New Zealand Fashion Week has always been a shining beacon for fashion enthusiasts, and SS24 has been no exception. This year, New Zealand Fashion Week has made a comeback after a pandemic-related hiatus, showcasing both established and emerging designers, promising to introduce new household names to the fashion world.
With a rich fashion heritage — with notable brands like Wynn Hamlyn, Paris Georgia, Maggie Marilyn, and Kate Sylvester — the country’s fashion industry combines tradition and innovation to create bold, functional designs. While the runway showcases ingenious designs and artistic creations, it was the streets of Auckland that truly stole the show.
New Zealand’s unique blend of cultural influences, natural beauty, and a thriving creative scene came to life in the eclectic street style of this year’s New Zealand Fashion Week.
Bold Colors and Patterns:
New Zealand Fashion Week SS24’s street style was a riot of color and pattern. Attendees weren’t afraid to experiment with bold hues and striking prints. Whether it was vibrant accent colors or eye-catching geometric designs, the streets of Auckland resembled an artist’s palette. It was a testament to the fearless approach to fashion that defines the Kiwi spirit.

New Zealand Fashion Week SS24 continues to be a celebration of individuality, sustainability, and cultural diversity.
