Street style maven Katie Holmes is back to flexing her fashion bona fides in New York City. On Wednesday, the Dawson’s Creek alum made an appearance on Good Morning America to promote her upcoming off-Broadway play, The Wanderers. The star walked into the studio in one outfit, and out in another, keeping one constant — her silver metallic pumps.
Despite cold temperatures, the style star knows there’s nothing like a statement shoe to put some extra pep in your step.
The Alone Together actress sported an oversized Aneta black leather coat from Tove, a basic black shirt under a classic white button-down, teamed with high-waisted Mikado satin metallic champagne-colored belted wide-leg pants from New York-based label Kallmeyer, black stockings and her shining silver heels. Holmes carried a green Savette Symmetry Pochette suede handbag.
The Batman Begins actress styled her brunette tresses in glossy, tousled waves parted down the middle, and kept her makeup minimal, with a luminescent, bronze glow.
Holmes departed the GMA studio and headed to a photocall for her new play. This time, the actress wore a nautical navy blue Chanel zip-up jacket with white piping over a navy zip-up top with thin white vertical stripes. The tastemaker paired her fresh look with a different pair of Kallmeyer wide-leg trousers (the Madelynn linen slacks in chocolate brown) and kept on her shimmering silver pumps.
Produced by the Roundabout Theater Company, The Wanderers will appear on stage at the Laura Pels Theater at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theater from Jan. 26 to March 26. Get tickets here.
