As the curtain closes on haute couture week (le sigh),
we’re scrolling through all corners of the internet, saving a stack
of beauty looks that caught our attention. In all truth, there were
plenty, but a closer analysis proves that there’s a handful of
trends bubbling up on the runway.
From celestial skin to precision plaits, scroll on for four key
beauty trending takeaways from the runways in Paris — and a slew of
product recommendations should you wish to try at home.
Starlit Skin
Whether iridescent, creamy and ethereal or dusted with actual
glitter, shining skin was on the menu. Consider this an extension
of glass skin, where the gleamy, glossy look is taken into another
dimension. Layer up highlighters and shimmer shadows for a similar
effect (and don’t forget to hydrate via skincare).

Part physical education, part space odyssey, tiny plaits and
braided details were everywhere. At Elie Saab, slick ballerina buns
were made all the more interested with two plaits along the crown,
while Iris Van Herpen pushed the boundaries in terms of shape,
placement and length. Whether its a dedicated look or
simply to keep your hair out of your face, this easy-to-replicate
