If I’m being honest, I’ve missed fashion week street style more than most things. I didn’t realise just how starved I was of stylish curbside ensembles until I set eyes on the lucky attendees filing in to Chanel’s Fall / Winter Haute Couture 2021-2022 show.

The layering, the unexpected colour combinations, the bags (plural, in most cases) – it was the reminder I needed that there is life beyond elasticated tights on the horizon. If you’re of a similar inclination or just need a shot in the arm (no, not that one) of some unadulterated sartorial confection, you’ll be pleased with the fashionable fare on display dans la rue in Paris.
