When Zendaya’s not making Emmys’ history, sitting front-row at Valentino, or in the producer’s chair on the set of Euphoria, the actress makes time to indulge in her love of fashion with her longtime stylist Law Roach.

When the duo, who are behind some of the most iconic red carpet looks in recent history, don’t have a specific event to dress Zendaya for, they opt to take a leaf out of Hailey Bieber’s book: they, instead, dress up for Instagram.

Last month, the 26-year-old was the first to debut Jonathan Anderson’s new collection for Loewe, weeks before the designs were even showcased on the runway at Paris Fashion Week. This shows Zendaya’s pull: if a fashion house would rather be seen first on Instagram, instead of at their show in front of the entire fashion industry, you know you’re onto something.

Now, Zendaya and Roach have done it again. This time, with Zendaya becoming the first to wear British designer Maximilian Davis’ debut collection at the helm of Ferragamo.

At just 27 years old, Davis sent his debut collection for the iconic Italian house at Milan Fashion Week last month, six months on from the announcement of his appointment as creative director after bursting onto the fashion scene in London in 2019.

The red trousers and matching top Zendaya opted for were inspired by artist Rachel Harrison’s Sunset Series. The colour red was a theme throughout Davis’ collection, echoing the colour of the flag of his Trinidadian background, which defined the palette for the collections he presented under Fashion East for his namesake label.
