If you thought Zendaya was hanging up her sartorial prowess after her whirlwind Challengers and Dune 2 tours, you’re very wrong. Though the actress has kept a relatively low profile since wrapping up the films’ respective press circuits, her recent public appearance proves she’s still got her finger on the pulse.
On Thursday evening, the actress appeared at the opening night performance of Jeremy O. Harris’s Slave Play, a three-part play that has been critically acclaimed for its portrayal and exploration of power dynamics and generational trauma through the storylines of interracial couples. Though she had already seen the production some years ago when it was live on Broadway in New York City, she showed her support for O. Harris in London at the Noel Coward Theatre.
What’ll likely surprise no one is that Zendya returned to the fashion archives for a more casual look this time—not quite like her recent Thierry Mugler metal ‘robo’ suit from the brand’s 1995 couture collection. The chartreuse-green knit sweater she donned may seem like a sweet thrift find, but it’s actually straight out of the 2000s, from John Galliano’s tenure at Christian Dior, to be specific.

For the off-duty affair, she paired the sweater with an ecru mini skirt and tan brown leather knee-high boots, serving up warm tones that perfectly complimented her current blonde locks.
