Rapper Nicki Minaj has discovered a newfound “obsession” over “The Crown“, the ultimate Netflix drama that chronicles the British royal family. With a candid letter to her fans, shared on her website, Minaj praised the entire production, from the cast’s performances to the writers and directors.
“My darlings, as I complete this album & documentary, I am also obsessing over ‘The Crown’ on Netflix,” she wrote. “The great Kenya Barris recommended I watch it & I’ve been hooked ever since. It’s safe to say I’ve watched every single episode of every single season at least five times each. Lol. Yikes.”
The 38-year-old rapper went on to applaud Claire Foy, who mirrored Queen Elizabeth in the first two seasons, “I can’t get enough of Claire Foy’s perfect face. I want to eat it. It just does the right thing in every single scene.” Furthermore, praising Gillian Anderson and his portrayal of Margaret Thatcher, “I also can’t believe how much I enjoy Gillian Anderson’s portrayal of Margaret Thatcher.
