The Most Instagrammed City in the World: London, UK

With over 160 million Instagram posts, London takes the top spot as the most Instagrammed city in the world for the second year in a row.

The city boasts many photogenic spots, including the Tower of London, Big Ben, and the London Eye, which offers an unparalleled view of the city’s skyline.

Second place goes to Paris, with over 143 million Instagram posts, followed by Istanbul in third, with more than 132 million posts. Istanbul, with its lesser-known yet stunning appeal compared to the top two, is undoubtedly a must-visit city at least once in a lifetime.

Dubai deserves a special mention, as it has seen a surge in Instagram posts over the past year. It ranks fifth among the most Instagrammed cities (after New York City) and is the most trending city on TikTok. While TikTok’s ranking is similar, there are slight differences compared to Instagram.

Rounding out the top three, Canada’s pristine nature captures the world’s attention in every season.
