A summer story is brewing as musician Joe Jonas has decided to refresh his surroundings — and the people around him as well.
With a relationship left and dusted after a rigorous divorce, and lawsuit after lawsuit, Joe Jonas has opened up and confided with a new partner, or friend, Laila Abdullah.
After spending much of his time in Europe, where he and his band performed at the Cannes Film Festival, he continued his European itinerary include a trip to Greece where he was seen with Laila enjoying some time together in Athens.
Although it is yet to be confirmed, the singer and actress were spotted looking cosy together on the beach in the Greek capital.

Born in Kuwait
Originally from Lebanon, her family moved to Kuwait where she was born and raised.
She’s Fluent in Sign Language
Her parents were born deaf, which makes her and her younger siblings fluent in sign language. Before finding her love for acting, she would often translate whatever was happening on television to her parents. This later prompted her to develop her passion for acting.
She started acting at 14
During a podcast appearance with Anas Bukash, Laila recalled how her passion for showbusiness and acting started from a young age.
“As a seven year old, I imagined that I would become famous, walk on the red carpet, and move out of our tiny house and into a villa,” she recaleld. “I knew there was a talent that I would make use of to improve and grow.”
The budding star then landed her first role at the age of 14, where she starred in Saher Al-lail a popular melodrama series released in 2010. And because of her acting prowess, she later got casted in multiple shows and movies thereafter.

An actress with style, Laila has amassed over five million followers on Instagram, where she uploads daily showcasing her personal style, travel, personal snippets and more. Though acting is her passion, she’s also an adventure-seeker. Sharing with her millions of followers her daily travels to Paris, London, and most recently of course, Greece.
She’s An Activist
With a deep devotion to social activism, Laila has shown active support for the people of Gaza. Consistently reminding her followers of the grievances and horrors Palestinians are facing on a daily basis.
To show support, she posted her usual fashion glam statement wearing an all-black athleisure ensemble. But with the Keiffiyeh around her shoulders, showcasing her stand and solidarity for Palestine.
Previous Relationships
Laila was previously married to Iranian actor Abdallah Abass. The pair wed in December 2017, but it wasn’t to last as they divorced in 2018.
Recalling this period in conversation with Anas, Laila admitted her divorce changed her perception of marriage. “We have to start asking questions,” she explained. “Am I ready today to be a good wife to my husband and children? Do I have the time to be a mother? Do I have the time to start a family that will benefit society for the rest of my life?” She says.
“These are important questions that we don’t ask,” she added.
