With Eid Al Adha on the horizon, residents are looking forward to one of the UAE’s most treasured traditions – spectacular firework displays.
Over the Eid break, many popular locations in the country are set to light up the night sky with glittering showcases, adding to the jubilant festivities of the holiday.
Here are five spots to catch a glimpse of Eid Al Adha the fireworks in the UAE.
Dubai
Dubai Parks and Resorts
Known as the biggest theme park in the Middle East, Dubai Parks and Resorts will host celebratory fireworks shows on June 16 and June 17. Visitors can head to Riverland Dubai for the best view, where the shows will begin at 9pm. There’ll also be captivating laser shows to enjoy, scheduled to take place three times throughout the night at 7.30pm, 8.20pm and 9.30pm. An Eid street food market and a Bollywood dance show will also be on offer, truly ensuring a festive night to remember.
Abu Dhabi
Hudayriyat Island
On June 17, the stunning seaside location of Marsana on Hudayriyat Island, will host a captivating firework display for Eid Al Adha. Starting promptly at 9 pm, the showcase will last for 5 minutes, adding a colourful backdrop to the pristine waters and plush surrounds. There’s also an array food and dining options to choose from, making for a memorable night out for the whole family.
Abu Dhabi Corniche
With an 8km strip of stunning seaside views, the Abu Dhabi Corniche will dazzle residents with an elaborate firework display on June 17 at 9pm. Visitors can head to the Nation Towers for an exceptional view, before heading to the bustling centre to enjoy food stalls, bike rentals, restaurants and more.
Al Dhafra
The capital’s Al Dhafra region will host fireworks displays in three separate locations for Eid Al Adha, each offering a unique atmosphere to the festivities. From the leisurely public park to the bustling Madinat Zayed, and the tranquil setting of Al Marfa, each show promises a grand ending to the joyous holiday. The shows will take place on June 17 at 9 pm.
Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, Al Ain
For those making their way to Al Ain during the Eid break, The Hazza Bin Zayed stadium will host a 5-minute firework display on June 17 at 9 pm. The central location is in just a stone’s throw away from a number food and beverage outlets, making it the perfect spot to grab a bite.
