With International Women’s Day finally commencing, Expo 2020 Dubai is set to celebrate the occasion properly. A global lineup of inspiring artists and female-led bands are set to embark on the event from 6-7th March. Dignified storytelling, the Expo 2020 Dubai Women’s Pavilion and Cartier are collaborating in ‘We The Women’ together, the event that brings together female artists from all around the world for a once in a lifetime experience at Expo 2020 Dubai’s Festival Garden, themed “Break the Bias.”

What makes the festival special is that every performer that has been chosen is picked based on their contribution to society and dedication to promoting gender equality as well as women empowerment. The line-up includes Les Amazones d’Afrique, a band formed by Malian musicians and social activists: Mamani Keïta, Oumou Sangaré and Mariam Doumbia, Natacha Atlas, Alo Wala, and Tania Saleh. These are just some of the names that’ll be headlining this festival.
